Automatic Jam Partner

Hi!

I just successfully brought my jamlink to life. YAY!
Well, since I'm over here in Germany, I ordered two jamLinks for me and my buddy (also in germany) and sent his one out today. So - no jam partner. Since I'm a little shy :-) and quite rusty when it comes to jamming, I'd appreciate a skype like possibility to connect to a jamlink User, who simply loops a simple drum pattern, maybe a blues schemed jam session would be nice, too - so you could join right in. Just for testing purposes.

What do you think?

This would be a great feature for newbies; just like Skype, we could use it to make sure we're set up properly to send and receive sound.

Hi Jörg.

that is a great idea. We are working on a number of new features that make it much easier to find and play with people (or possibly automated jambots) without having to wait for your normal collaborators to show up. We will keep you posted as these get implemented. Be on the look out over the next few weeks for improvements.
