New device - Run LED not working - MAC address search failing

Hi,

I powered up my new Jamlink, connected it to the router with an ethernet cable (router and cable working). The Link LED is green (blinks once in a while), but the Run LED is off. When I power it off and on again, the LED turns red, then amber and then turns off again. Waiting doesn't help, the light stays off.

For this reason I can't find the device through its address either.

How do I solve this?

I had this problem as well tonight and it turned out to be a bad ethernet cable. We swapped in a new cable and it started working fine.
